• Account and payment information you provide: name, email address, and payment details when you create an account, buy a plan, or contact us. Payments are processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.
• Usage information collected automatically: IP address, browser type, operating system, and how you use our site, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 3).
• Download and license records: which tracks you download or add and when, kept as proof of your license.
• When you use SoundMarket for Canva: the Canva user ID and team (brand) ID that Canva provides, which we use to confirm requests come from Canva and to link your Canva account to your SoundMarket account when you connect; and the searches, filters, and tracks you preview or add in the app. You sign in with your SoundMarket account. We do not receive your Canva password, and Canva does not receive your SoundMarket password.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve our services, including the Canva app.
• To process payments and send order confirmations.
• To enforce plan limits and protect the catalog, including rate limiting by IP address and preventing abuse.
• To communicate with you about your account, updates, promotions (you can opt out), and support.
• To measure and improve how our website and apps are used. In the Canva app, these analytics use an anonymous identifier derived from your Canva user ID, not your name or email address.
• To detect, investigate, and fix errors.

3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

• Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, understand how the site is used, and measure our advertising.
• We use Google Analytics on our website, subject to your cookie choices, and in the Canva app with the anonymous identifier described above. We use Google Ads conversion measurement to understand which ads lead to sign-ups.
• We use Sentry to detect and fix errors.
• You can manage cookies through our cookie banner and your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some features.

4. Sharing Your Information

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We share data with service providers that help us run SoundMarket, under their own data-protection terms: hosting and databases (Heroku, Netlify, Supabase), payments (Stripe), media delivery (Bunny CDN), analytics and advertising measurement (Google), error monitoring (Sentry), and email delivery (Resend).
• When you use SoundMarket for Canva, Canva processes your use of the app under Canva’s own privacy policy.
• We may disclose information to legal authorities if required by law or to protect our rights.

5. Data Retention

• We keep account information while your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
• We keep download and license records for as long as the licenses they prove remain in effect, because they are your proof of license.
• Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings of our analytics provider.
• When you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information unless we must keep it for legal reasons.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet is entirely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You have the right to:

• Access and update your personal information.
• Opt out of marketing communications.
• Disconnect SoundMarket from your Canva account at any time.
• Request deletion of your data, subject to legal obligations. A deletion request also removes the link between your Canva and SoundMarket accounts.
